Mai Chau Ecolodge, Vietnam (HD)

Mai Chau Ecolodge (HD) Located about four hours from Hanoi, the Mai Chau Valley is known as the "Jewel of the North".  It's the center of ancient Thai culture in Vietnam, and a beautiful, soulful place with wonderful people who are open to having visitors.  It's possible for tourism to spoil a place, and I often wonder if people with cameras and cargo shorts ruin what made it wonderful to begin with...But the fact is that tourism brings business, and the locals feel that's good, if managed  the right way. With a friendly staff and management drawn from the local community, It seems to me this resort is doing it the right way.
