The local project is part of a major plan: By 2025, the country hopes to generate a quarter of its energy from renewable sources.

GIZ Project

Drinking Water

One of the volunteer projects with Fathom Travel and Wine to Water which is helping to fight the Global Water Crisis. 

In the Dominican Republic, more than 80% of people don't have access to clean drinking water. 

We made 29 water filters using sawdust, clay, and liquid silver, and delivered 8 filters to four local families in need that day.
